For indoor plants, choose Lutoya for pots. For small pots (30-40 cm diameter), pick a small model (35 cl), for larger pots, choose the medium model (70 cl). For terraces or balconies with planters, the buried Lutoya is also a great choice.

For gardens, large yards, or very large planters, you'll need the garden Lutoya. Choose between small (2L) or large (5L).

There are several times of year when you'll appreciate Lutoya most: sunny days when plants need more water, and during holidays when Lutoya waters your plants while you're away.

We especially recommend the garden Lutoya for sustainable watering and water conservation during summer.

We don't recommend it. Due to very low winter temperatures, it would be a shame to find your Lutoya damaged in spring. Before the first night frosts, we suggest digging up outdoor Lutoya, cleaning it with water (or diluted white vinegar), letting it dry, and storing it safely until spring.

Lutoya doesn't need any specific maintenance. However, if your tap water is rich in limestone, we recommend cleaning it with water and vinegar once a year.

Water needs vary depending on the plant type, growth stage, soil structure, and climate.

Our recommendations:

• Indoor Lutoya: once a week (or twice for sun-loving plants in summer)
• Garden Lutoya 2L: every 5 days
• Garden Lutoya 5L: every 10 days

Plants are living organisms like us. How would it be for us to drink water only once a week? The same goes for roots — they need constant water, not a lot at once. Slow irrigation is healthier than flooding roots then leaving them in dry soil.

We don't recommend it. Fertilizer could reduce Lutoya's porosity and decrease its efficiency.

Garden Lutoya is recommended for plants with multiple roots (salads, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers). Single-root vegetables (carrots, radishes) are less likely to draw water from Lutoya.

Indoor Lutoya works for all plant types except succulents, cacti, and bonsai.
